Choosing a Soap Dish or Dispenser

The decision is mostly about how you use soap. A dispenser suits liquid hand soap beside a basin, where it's used constantly and refilled rather than replaced. A dish suits bar soap, and it belongs where the soap can drain: a dish that holds water leaves a soft, wasted bar behind. Several of our designs pair a dish with a holder so the bar sits clear.

Wall Mounted Rather Than Freestanding

Everything here fixes to the wall. That keeps the basin surround clear, which matters most in a small cloakroom, and it stops a dispenser being knocked into the basin. It also means the position is set once, so it's worth deciding where the hand naturally reaches before it goes up.

Finishes

Available in seven finishes: chrome, matt black, brushed brass, brushed gold, brushed bronze, gunmetal grey and antique brass. Match the soap accessory to the tap above it rather than to the basin, since the tap is the fixed metal in the room.
